In 2019, a new life-saving medication (Trikafta) was brought onto the market for Cystic Fibrosis patients. While available in the U.S. and other countries, it is not available in Canada due to potential legislation changes that wish to put a cap on medication prices. These legislation changes will be detrimental to CF patients and will affect 1 in 12 Canadians living with a rare disease as these drugs tend to be more costly; therefore, denying patients a chance at a ‘normal life.’

I ask you, my community, to rally with me in Halifax, Nova Scotia to fight these legislation changes to allow people like me a chance to LIVE.
