Reminder to Band Members

A reminder to all Millbrook band members.

Thursday, November 21st is the day for the referendum votes - 1919 Halifax Invalid Surrender Claim and Duncan MacMillan Land Exchange vote.

The polls will be open from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM at the Millbrook Community Hall, located at 72 Church Road.

If you are planning on voting in person, at the hall, please bring a form of ID with you.

If you live off-reserve and have not submitted your ballot yet, you are able to (1) drop your enclosed ballots off at the Canada Post office in the Truro Industrial Park (366 Industrial Ave.) today or Wednesday, or (2) vote in person at the hall on Thursday.

If you still haven't made a decision on the matter, there will band staff members at the hall to address any outstanding questions before you make your vote.

***If you are in the Truro and surrounding area and need a drive to and from the polling station please call (902) 809-1309 or (902) 986-2816 to arrange a drive.
