Nova Scotia Health offering drop-in vaccine clinic at locations in Northern Zone next week

Nova Scotia Health’s COVID-19 vaccine outreach clinics will be offering drop-ins for the Pfizer vaccine in Pugwash, StewiackeAdvocate Harbour and Truro next week to help support vaccine accessibility for residents and nearby community members. 

 

The clinics are open to anyone age 12+ for their first or second dose* at the following locations, at the following times:

 

Pugwash Fire Hall (11057 Highway 6, Pugwash)

Monday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drop-in only

 

Stewiacke Community Centre (111 Highway 2, Stewiacke)

Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drop-in only

 

Advocate Fire Hall (4176 Highway 209, Advocate Harbour)

Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drop-in only 

 

 

Dalhousie Agricultural College - MacRae Building (135 College Rd., Truro)

Thursday, Oct. 21 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Drop-in only

 

 

*To be eligible for a second dose, it must be 28 days or more since the first dose, or 21 days or more if the first dose was Pfizer.

 

Community members will be asked to provide their health card number (if they have one) and ID at the vaccine clinic.

 

For those with mobility challenges, special needs, and/or have significant anxiety about needles, please notify clinic team members on site. Having this information helps the clinic team better offer support. 

All eligible Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.

Nova Scotia Health and Halifax Public Libraries partner to host vaccine outreach clinics

 

 

October 13, 2021

 

Nova Scotia Health is partnering with Halifax Public Libraries to offer drop-in vaccine clinics at several library locations in the Central Zone to help support vaccine accessibility.

 

The clinics will be open to drop-ins for the Pfizer vaccine to anyone age 12+ for their first or second dose* at the following locations, at the following times:

 

Keshen Goodman Public Library

330 Lacewood Drive, Halifax 

Arabic interpreter on-site, free parking available.

Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Captain William Spry Public Library

16 Sussex Street, Halifax

Arabic interpreter on-site, free parking available.

Monday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Tantallon Public Library 

3646 Hammonds Plains Road, Upper Tantallon

Free parking available.
