Nova Scotia "NO BURN BAN"

Effective immediately, a “NO BURN BAN” is in effect for the Province of Nova Scotia because of the forest fires. The ban is in effect until June 25, 2023, unless conditions improve and the Province deems it can be lifted sooner. This Burn Ban applies to all Millbrook First Nation lands due to the high risk of forest fires caused by dry conditions, winds, and low humidity.

This ban includes backyard firepits, fireworks, brush burning, or any other open fire that may cause amber or sparks. Millbrook Security and Millbrook RCMP will look out for anyone with an open fire and request that the fire be put out. Thank you for being so cooperative, and stay safe.
