Feedback Needed: Elver Fishing Plan 2025

Millbrook Fisheries invites you to read the “Interim Millbrook First Nation Livelihood Katew (Elver) Fishing Plan” for some community feedback.

Please email elverlogs@mfnfisheries.ca to leave your comments on the plan. This plan has NOT yet been accepted by Chief & Council, who will greatly value your feedback. Commenting will close January 4.

Millbrook First Nation - Food, Social & Ceremonial plans

The Food, Social & Ceremonial plans (FSC lobster, FSC salmon, FSC multispecies) were approved by Chief & Council on January 16/24. Please make arrangements to register with Millbrook Fisheries starting on March 18/24.

The Jakej/lobster Livelihood fishing Plan has also been approved and registration for that plan will also begin on March 18/24

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone harvesting outside of these plans will be doing so at their own risk.

1-902-490-5020 for Halifax Regional Municipality 1-902-563-5151 for Cape Breton Regional Municipality 1-800-803-7267 for mainland Nova Scotia excluding HRM and Kentville, and Cape Breton Island excluding CBRM, 1-902-678-2100 for Kentville.

Updates will be provided on the Nova Scotia EMO Twitter and Facebook page.
